Well, I finally got the lot done today. I know I was teasing earlier about which rims I went for so here they are in all their glory :D .

WOW!!! I likey likey the de-chromed window surrounds. did u just buy a replacement trim or did u have it painted? I want to de-chrome mine but I can foresee a DIY no-go...

Didn't get the name of the colour, but it's Pauls' at M Style's car. It was a silver M3 'vert but he has had it re-sprayed Yellow and had it dropped on 20" iforged rims. Was in such a rush yesterday that I didn't get a chance to get any pics. But the M3 in their advert in PBMW (for iForged rims) is of his ride when it was silver.

Ahh Nick, it was finally my wifes choice. I new you'd be happy ;) .
I have been thinking about the drop, but it is just that the CH's stick out a little from the arches at the front only a matter of mm's but wasn't too sure whether if I lower it, this will be magnified (as they will sit closer to the arches)???
And, I have had it tinted (only 50% mind), but I prefer the classy look that the 50% gives over the more aggressive 35%.

Mitsu, it was a complete retrofit (no spraying done here). Decided to just buy the new strips and get them fitted. Definitely, worth doing as it has finished off the exterior on mine. Looks sooooo much better than the chrome.

Nice one Raj, can you PM me the cost of the trim please? Also, is this DIY-able or do we need to pro for the job? I'd definitely like matt black, not shiny black for mine...

CSLs were a very, very close second. Wifey, preferred the look of the CHs and to be honest it was BBSs heritage and rim production that swung it for me. Was considering RCs / RXs as well, so you never know.
