Time to sort out my speakers now I think - as much as I love my Alpine head unit it really doesn't sound as good as it should through the nasty Nokia / Bose speakers

Bought a set of MB Quart RSC 210 4" Components for the dashboard from MistaSmiff

Have also got a pair of Boston Acoustics S45s with modified Porsche speaker grilles for the rear

Guessing I need another set for the doors, and think they are 4" ones.

What sort of speakers do I need? Woofers, as I've I'll have components in the dash, or does part of the component set fit in the door

And should I get some Dynamat fitted at the same time?

Whatever I need I'll get Andy to supply and fit the lot, hopefully in the next week or so :)

Advice please!

It's ok mate, though you will need to show me how the bostons were fixed to the OEM speaker grilles as I hear it's may not be a straight retrofit...

Late Nov '07 I moved from a 330i Sport 'vert to a 996 C4S Cab (tip) to currently a 996 C4S coupe. Loving it though the previous owner has knackered the speakers.

As soon as the speakers arrive I'll take some pics for you :)
