Hi everyone, just thought I would post some pictures of my car.
Got it in April last year, and have done a few subtle mods and some silly things.
Mods:
CF front splitters: Styling-Group.co.uk
CF Front and wheel badges: Ebay
CF rear diffuser: Ebay
Umnitza Angel eyes: CA Automotive
Black grills: Msytle UK
Osram indicator bulbs
Front number plate blanking strip
A friend of mine at uni who has an E30 325i motorsport and I wanted some viper stipes at the end of last year so got some orange ones, which we thought look amazing, other poeple wern't so sure. And more recently we did a charity rally for our university, and a group of us did a Gumball esque Team Polizei theme. We had my car, the E30 a Caterham 7 and a Volvo V50. The cars looked brilliant! The Polizei stuff is coming off tomorrow, and thinking about a black roof, like Performance BMW's 5 series.
Hope you like the car.

welcome to the forum!
but those stripes just look stupid IMO.
the E30 can get away with it but yours looks like a 17 year old MAXPOWER reader has been given his dads car! but whatever floats your boat!
the black roof will work tho, im getting it done very soon.
mark(black sabbath) has just done his in CF effect, looks good!

Of course the comment haven't scared me off. It's the exact same reaction I had from my friends. And not even half as bad as what my dad said, he bought 3/4 of the car for my 21st, I'm sure you can imagine!
Next bid expense will be the clutch, the guy who owned it before me was quite heavy on it. Then black roof, wheels and a drop for the summer hopefully. Thinking matte black CSL or BBS CH with a grey or white time attack rim?
Thanks for all the good coments, I'm just about to start the task of taking over 100 little green squares off my car!! Not fun!
Hi and welcome - I've seen the username/car on E46fanatics.

Welcome to the forum dude,
I'm not gonna say anything about your stripes as it's already fairly clear what the general opinion is.
Nice to see a touring on here to! they are few and far between.

welcome to EvoT.
I need to ask though, what's next in terms of vehicle adornment? Cool car btw :) tinted windows make it look mean.
Did you not have problems with heat when you blocked the lower grille with your numberplate? Seems like an odd place for it.

No problems with heat at all, I'm just about to get a new, smaller plate made up, once that is done I think that it will make the front much look much cleaner.
Also, forgot to mention that I also have a Dave F induction kit, which is brilliant, and I have also disconected the valve in the back of the exhast which has made the car sound quite a lot deeper at low revs and also pop on the over run.
I think the plate looks silly - they always do when people move them. Yes the bumper looks better without a plate on it but then the effect is always completley reversed becuase it invariably ends up looking worse wherever the plate gets relocated to.
You'll just get nicked with a smaller plate anyway.
