sorry to say this ....but theny dont need to advertise they have a speedtrap set up . Long as they are passive , i.e. not actually chasing / egging you on in unmarked car or encouraging you any otherway to increase speed , then the conviction will likely be safe .

After all if cop car is following you and clocking your speed they dont advertise the fact until you have broken the law and they pull you over ....

Best defense is to invest in quality laser jammers and GPS warning systems..sorry to sound like a sales pitch but happens to be true ;)

so you lose the jamming function of laser guns if you install it in there?

There was a post on scoobynet a while back when a scooby pulled in front of a camera set up in a layby, he got out and pulled the bonnet up infront of the speed camera and pretended to be broke down [crackmeup Thread was hilarious and the copper eventually got pissed off coz he couldnt see a thing and packed up. Ill try and dig a pick out.

the metal framing of the roof lining and the metal of the roof itself will slightly affect / deflect the radar signal . This could reduce effective range and / or possibly give a false signal .

Uv protected screens can also affect RF and GPS signals ....

Also the guys were right in that thread aboutlaserdetection ......a useless feature ..you have to have a jammer or no point
