Sorry for the crappy snaps!

First impressions? It's so comfy, so quiet and so shiny! But stinks of cleaning fluid where it's been valeted - blergh.

Had a quick go on the twisties, but having a 9 month pregnant missus in the passenger seat put paid to any A road antics :D The speed sensitive steering is very nimble, engine note almost inaudible except when you accelerate hard (slight difference to the R32!) standard 9 speaker stereo has excellent imaging on CD, rear vision not so good due to large c pillars, doors make a lovely thunk, there's no hesitation or jerking from the auto box (unlike my E39 528), very little body roll, all the buttons and knobs are in just the right places, dash is a little plasticky, boot is huuuge - erm, that's all for now.

...and that was a very long sentence!

Am going outside now to have a play with the satnav - she's so posh, bordering on Lara Croft :D

Was rather impressed to be given a decent bottle of champagne in a wood presentation box by the dealer too!

Congratulations. After taking a good look at the RX300 a little while back, I'm a huge fan of the marque. I love the dial set up on the IS's

Looking lovely Dan...will surely miss the R32 but you subconsciously knew that it was going to be short-lived:) Anyway, lets wait and see what mods my brother can find for you. I recon a TRD cf sport grill may be in order

p.s. not long for mini-Dan to arrive...fingers crossed matey

You are quite right about the R32 on both counts

Will soon be selling replica Lexus goodies on eBay - just waiting for prices of badges etc!

Those TRD grilles are £185 each here  do you reckon your bro could get me one cheaper direct from Japan?

Have already got a Blitz stainless steel air filter on the way from the USA. Just need new rims, HKS stainless exhaust, oh yeah and the wife to give birth.... [bang

First mod arrived from the USA today - shiny stainless steel rings to cover the knurled aircon dials :) - yep will do pics once they are one!

And this time I won't get BBS wheels - don't think they really suit a Japanese car
