Non seem of the above make anything for the MK 5 R32, also one requirment it needs to add around 100 bhp max
I all honesty, I am not sure there is (just at the moment) anything in the way of a supercvharger for the MkV R32 yet. I could be wrong though. It may be worth getting in touch with VF, because if they don't currently, they will be able to tell you when they do have plans or if you could use your uncles as the test car to make one.

No there are loads out there, but VF is definitely tried and tested.

Good call, went brain dead, how could I forget ABT.
VF engineering are very good. Do not go with EIP, heard so many bad stories about them. they have major reliability issues.
ATP are also good.

VF dont do anything at the minute. It may be possible to fit the mark 4 supercharger to the mk 5 if there is no massive differance in the engine.

here is the reply I got from VF
Mohammed,
We are currently in the early stages of development of a turbo kit for
the MK5 R32. In the mean time we do offer a short ram cold air intake
along with special GIAC intake software to help you achieve maximum
performance with a N/A car, we also have engine mounts to help eliminate
engine movement under torque load and on hard acceleration, Creating a
more stable car.
Please feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have.
Regards

Yes sorry your right about Storm they did use to be one of the uk dealers. Regal are the sole distributer for europe but they are other uk dealers who just get the kits from Regal.
Adood
The in take they are talking about is very good its made by V-flow the best intakes I have ever seen.
The only proble you would have for the software is there are no GIAC dealers in your area.

Try Regal Autosport 02380558636, email sales@regal-auto.co.uk , there a VF Engineering agent or try this company in Germany HGP Turbo
Tuning industry moguls, HGP Turbo are at it again. This time working on shoe horning the Touareg R36 engine into the MK5 Golf chassis. Creating not only the first R36 application to be fitted into the MK5, but also adding two turbos which raise output to a mind blowing 600PS.
Performance, of course, is also equally astounding. At a recent AutoBild / Nardo High speed event the R36 equipped Golf MK5 managed to hit 0-62 in just 3.8 seconds, then going on to hit 204 MPH. This has surely to be a record for any hatchback based Golf and certainly puts the R36 well into super car territory.
No details of pricing for the engine conversion to the MK5 as of yet, or even if the upgrade will ever be available. However, turbo conversions for both the Passat and Touareg R36 are available so if you have some money burning a whole in your pocket it could be worth a trip to Germany. Both models are available in the UK and Europe so it will only be a matter of time before we someone bite the (£20,000+) tuning bullet.

Sod that so in essence, £26k+ for the R32 (MK5) then + £20k + = Over £46k and then again its stilll a golf, dont forget the brakes, suspension, etc....
Just buy an E60 M5 - 507BHP or equivilant ....

Juber, your right, its still a Golf and I would love to own E60 M5, but just imagine the guy's face when a Golf is passing him and if you can afford the £20k for the engine conversion it shouldnt be a problem to do the brakes and suspension,
Star performance do the super charger conversions on the mk4 R32's, some whee in the region of £4500, nice tidy installation

Benny Boy, speak to Jim at star and he will let you know what he can do for you, I know the mk4's were getting about 330 bhp for the stg 1, stg 2 was up around the 350bhp, he has got a good rolling road there plus the GIAC software is also a good piece of kit, he can give you several programmes using 95 Ron, 98 Ron and 102 Ron fuel, lets know if he goes for the supercharger would be good to see what bhp the car makes

I know all about Giac and Vf I used to work at a uk dealer selling it.;) It is very good stuff. Seen a few problems with supercharged R32's though. The main reason was that AMD did the conversions wrong and was also using thier own software. We had one R32 in that was nearly 400 hp.

Yeah looks like you will have to wait. The only problem then is who would you get to do such a conversion over where you live.
