Im going to have my OEM coupe front bumper sprayed some time in the next 2 weeks.

Ive noticed, whilst drivin around that the various non-sport OEM bumpers are sprayed differently

In my car, the black mesh bit is NOT sprayed, where as on others some bits of this mesh/grill ARE sprayed. On others its a kinda chrome.

Now i whilst mine is gettin sprayed, i want to get it done proper - so when its all freshly painted its easy to clean. I currently find it a pain in the arse to clean all the bugs etc off from inbetween the grills etc...

Oh yea, and i'll be having a slight 'mod' done to the bumper if all goes well [cool

Any thoughts

Cheers

Jamie

the different colour grills denote different engines ;)

YOu have a 318, mesh is black. 330 is silver, everything in between has the "in-betweeny" colour coding

Arrr ha - that explains it - nice 1!

Now - for these in-betweeny versions. Does anyone have any close up pics of any so i can tell the garage wot bits to spray?

Should I just spray the whole lot and leave nothing black?

don't spray it. Get a new mesh from the dealer. it's not too expensive. Ali did this and it looked awesome

dont buy cheap mesh! as with everything you get what ya pay for!
spend a good £20 on some good mesh. (about 3 foot by 1 foot)
there's alot of cheap shit out there.

When you say mesh, you mean a new black grill insert for the bumper right? The bit inbetween the fogs? If so - yea, thats a good idea

Or did you mean something else?

Which bit did Ali replace?

I found a pic:
