Sorry but its late and i just thought i'd share this with ya!!!

After fitting my new splitter last week i went out in the car and had to visit 2 car parks! BIG mistake. first car park the splitter touch very lightly, but the second which is a large car park in the centre of town with a massive multiplex cinema, i came out of the car park at snails pace (its only a SLIGHT ramp down to the road) and just heard that aweful sound of bodywork scrapping the deck! didn't just touch it... it grinded on the road for about a half a foot! no real damage, just light grazing underneath which will never be seen!!!

just means i cant go into one of the major car parks in town! and i thought it was the safest to get in and out of! if i cant get outta there then pretty much every car park with camber on the entrance/exit i cant go in!!!............. thats all of them i think!!!!!!!!

will post pics soon as weather improves... had a fair few mods now. :D :D

Gutted for ya mate. That is the real problem with splitters and generally lowering cars. That is part of the reason I have not lowered my ride as of yet. Even on stock suspension I have scrapped my sport bumper (the small splitters), which is why I am torn between getting CS splitters (as I can imagine ripping them off coming out of a carpary or something).

You'll have to get air suspension then all your problems will be solved ;) .

Raj the CS splitters dont sit lower than standard, maybe a few mm. They just look more pronounced and sit about an inch further forward.

Catch mine all the time now, but its nderneath so nobody can see it ;)

Damn you Lee lol :D , I was trying to convince myself. You know that means I am gonna have to buy some now and get them sprayed ;) . Especially I have now ordered my new rims.
