Hi Guys,

As you I have had nothing but problems with black diamond brakes / discs
The back brakes are really loose and rattling, now sounds like the car is going fall apart really embarrassing.

So I’m going to change all pads and send the brakes back to Black diamond so they put them where sun don't shine:mad:

Any ways - what performance pads are people using where they have had no brake fade and stand up to battering when feel like giving her hard braking

Thanks guys

Are they quite new? they should settle in place. My VTTRS rattled for about 4k miles.

proper hardcore rally car brakes rattle about more than a skeleton having a wank in a buscuit tin :)

um... I read some where that the clips become loose on the pads which cause them to rattle more than a skeleton having a wank in a buscuit tin !!!
Now that i'm a brand new dad i need to know the brakes are safe so they will have to go

Other than the skeleton have a wank in the biscuit tin, my old black diamond predator pads did this on my 330. The solution is really easy ;) . Basically remove the pads and expand the three spring clips so that when they are puched back into the piston they sit alot tighter. Perfect cure for my car ;) .

My rear predator pads started rattling tonight, most annoying. I'd already seen this thread before fitting them so expanded the clips a little, clearly not enough though, will have to take them out again over the weekend and bend them some more. Not a very good design really, the clips on the original pads are far better.
