Hello guys,

I have been googling and researching this for several months now. It looks like this is such a big prob to install M3 Style mirros on the facelift coupe. All autofold mirrors come with 12 pin connection. Yesterday I found out that I have a printed circuit connection (my coupe is 2003 built). So therefore, only the one option I have is ASC mirrors, but (1) they are not cheap (2) they do not fold up even manually.
Just wonder if anyone installed autofold mirrors on the facelift coupe with the same type of connection (printed circuit)?
Another option I consider is going for original BMW mirrors with autofold function.

Your advice is very much apreciated! :)

the simple option is go for M3 rep mirrors & swap your motors into the new housings....job done :-)

thats what we advise people to with our mirrors do anyway :)

bear in mind that if you dont already have autofold mirrors you'll need a new mirror switch at £23 for the oem part

Ok, and if I do have painted M3 style mirrors and the switch, how much would you charge me then for the work? (Please pm or post over here)

The car has elect seats/reverse tilt but no autofold function

do you want a complete price for the mirrors, switch, paint and fitting?

the electric fold mirrors have a fold button on the mirror switch which is why you need a new one :-)

No, I just need quotation for the fitting only as I have mirrors already painted.

You can't get the oem mirror switch to fold the facelift mirrors with ribbon cables .

You will need to wire up a seperate switch
