View Full Version : Want to see a custom one off Eisenmann?

Whoooo Hoooo.

Seriously Big Thanks to Roy and the guys at Eisenmann. After my initial sadness at the original Eisenmann I got fitted and the drone, Roy suggested sending it back to Eisenmann to have it checked.
They concluded that it was indeed the factory sport as originally purchased. But as some of you may have read in an earlier thread I am a fussy sod and didn't like the noise but loved the 'zorst itself.......

So, they built me a complete one off (thats right the only one in the world - exclusive or what [jam ?) backbox just for little 'ol me. It has been made to an extra quiet level. I have just been for a looooong cruise, and although it is still noticeable, it is a lot quieter than before. You'll notice the tips have perforatted centres.

Those tips are seriously sweet, are they just one off or do new Eisenmann all come with the perforated lining as well?

you are very welcome Raj !!

the perforations are additional sound deadening Nick , the louder pipes have a smooth finish .

Also Nick , on tangent , you once sent me a good pic of M54 manifolds , can you re send ?

we are thinking of having 10x RHD dekat M54 manifolds with equal length headers made custom ....any takers ?

I had a loud system on my old car and I was longing for a smooth, refined sound and feel, eventually. I now have that! :)

Cheers everyone.....

I am soooo chuffed. As Roy said Nick, they are specific for the extra sound deadening, but they do really make the tips looking cracking [cool .

The marks are just dust as the car needs a clean (only washed it 2 days ago :eek: ).

The next mod will materialise hopefully by the weekend. Will keep you all in suspense till then ;) .

The other half hasn't noticed yet. Will see if she realises when we are out and about, and then tell her if she doesn't already notice (she is like me and doesn't like load exhausts, so if she doesn't notice then I know it is fine :rolleyes: ).

No Afif, they didn't. Just charged me for delivery - Result.

On the drive into work this morning I noticed it was a little beefier sounding than yesterday but otherwise it was not noticeable at all on the motorway.

hi

a question for you all please ....seeing as this exhaust is promoting such interest and comment , anyone thinkit might be agood idea if Eisenmann actually offer this as a fourth sound level in their range ?

Or what if they can offer thatperforated finish on all sound levels for better aesthetics ? waddyatink ?

Sounds like a good idea. Id actually like a listen to Raj's though as i still think mine is quiet even with all the resonators removed. :o

Lee, not sure when the next meet is after Pod but you can definitely have a listen when we all get together ;) .

Roy, don't offer the perforatted tips as I won't be exclusive anymore :( ;) :D lol.

Have to say, a couple of the guys in work have seen / heard it now and they it is well wicked. Really suits the car and has just offered that slightly sportier sound. They all love the perforatted tips as they think it looks a lot more OEish if you know what I mean [hmm .

Roy, I think it could be a great idea to offer this as another sound level, as it really is just right for the likes of peeps like ME :D .
