BMW Alarms Query?

Hi, Would a 330ci convertible sport come with a cat 1 alarm/immobiliser? Should there be any certificates or similar in the documentation/handbook with the car?

yes it should be Cat1 and no there will be no doccumentation with the car as it is standard kit and all insurance companies will know this.

Aftermarket alarms should come with an installation cert. As far as I know, if it's a Clifford, you should send the cert. in fto the insurer for the theft cover to be valid.

maybe it had a tracker fitted through an options package. mine did :D :D

All insurance companies will have on file the category of the standard alarm. It will be Cat1 so no need to worry there. As Singh has said there will be no documentation unless your motor has an aftermarket alarm.
