I've been feeling really down recently, and I just thought i'd share part of the reason with you guys...

I've learnt one thing now though... don't trust women drivers! they really don't look where they're going!!

Just take a look at the wheel... and believe it or not, but the steering's dead on straight and thats what the wheel looks like!

It's already been 2 weeks without him, and just spoke to bmw yesterday and they said its going to take at least another 2 go get him back! :mad: :mad:

Fas, they're replacing the rim... but they aren't allowed to paint it at the bmw bodyshop (apparantly!)...

So i think i've gotta get them powedercoated myself, then send the bill to my insurance company... do you guys know any good places to powdercoat split rims?!?!

As to the remus backbox, its great... just a bit on the quiet side for my liking!

Really sorry to hear abotu you prang.

Listen, when i worked in the car trade we often had to powder coat rims, if 1 was messed up, the only way to get a proper finnish was to redo all 4 rims becasue it is impossible to get it looking exactly the same.

Take this as a blessing is disguise and get you rims painted any colour you like. I totally suggest going a lighter colour as it will make them look much bigger.

This should all be covered by your insurance company.
