Hi Andy

You fitted my ICE in the e46 vert with the sub in the ski hatch...i have now got another piece of the interior that goes there...when you installed it you was on about putting some "Air holes" in it so i can have it back in place and the bass still gets through into the cabin

What size hole(s) or air ports would you recommend to put in to allow the bass to come through without damaging the sub and/or how much would you want to do it?

Pm me the details

Cheers

hello mate,

i used a pair of two inch ports from maplin electronics. i normally charge about £100 to supply and neatly install these.

ok cheers for that

finally looking to install the TMC into the car...i have the alpine 310 and the nve 077 sat nav.

Is it easier to get hte better sat nav unit (Nve 099) which i understand the TMC is built in, or get the TMC001 standalone unit??

I am leaning over to the new sat nav as on fleabay there fetching around 300-400 but the tmc unit i can only find new at about £220

I could then sell my sat nav and would probably be better off??

Make sense?

i'll be honest with you. the n099 navi is streaks ahead of the n077. i would sell it and get the newer version.

cheers for the info but streaks ahead??

The main differences i can see is the TMC and the n099 you can use your touch screen to program it

Is there anything else that i am missing?

ne099 has a MUCH faster processor which means initial guidance and re-route are as close to real-time as you can get.

I've got the ne077 and would love to sell it to get the 99, even though I don't have a touch screen front end.
