How do you look after your soft top ?

Hi fellas, i'm after some advice from any fellow vert owners. This is the first convertible that i have owned, are there any do's and don'ts regarding cleaning and protecting of the soft top?
I am thinking about trying autoglyms cabriolet fabric hood cleaning kit, this comes with foam type cleaner, a waterproof protector and an application sponge, has anyone used it or are there any other recommended products that i should look at.

Autoglym - best value for money going. Always use it, just thoroughly clean the hood first with a vacuum and soak away. You get around 2 applications per bottle, which usually does me for a whole year as you have the roof down a lot in summer and the turtle shell on in winter. :)
