This was posted on E46fanatics. Hamann widebody! I absolutely love it!

Gonna find out prices this week. If it's viable, then teddy, you may have to get me some custom wide-rims ;)

This will be a long term project. Maybe next year. I was quoted £2000 for a full, engine - out respray by my guys at Bodytechnics. Kandy Red, widebody convertible.

Not sure on that one, arches seem a bit.....bubbly in a word. Front bumper looks dated too. Has anybody done a wide vert yet? Candy Red [jam

I like it Fas, in a cab it would look very smart. Would you go for the House Of Kolor Candy Brandy Wine Red, which looks the nuts I might add.

Its a nice kit for sure and different to, Ive seen a similar kit fitted to and E36 and was very impressed with it.

Like the look of the widebody but as Lee said, the front bumper looks a bit E36-ish

It'll just be the arches and skirts. The front looks off, my current mtech with hamann lip will stay.

House of Kolor paint is exactly what I want! I've seen their paint used in american shows like American Chopper / Hotrod, and the brandy wine red is amazing!

I don't think anyone has done a widebody vert yet, definitely not in the UK that I've seen.

Can you guys supply the kit? Just the arches and skirts?

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go against the grain and say I don't like it. I think it looks cheap and unfinished in that pic, sorry :(

But as has been said before, modding is about putting your mark on the car and being different. If you like it, go for it mate. :)

Your front lip will definately do it more justice than the one in the pic.

The arches are too bulky and rounded. The flare is OK but the lines must blend. The Hamann kit IMO looks like a rush job.

Why not get just flare the rear? With OEM M3 rear wings and modify the rear diffuser to suit your current exhaust. The diffuser unclips and I'm sure you can fill up the cut outs and just make a single a exhaust cut out.

That will most certainly accentuate the aggresive lines. Just like the 996 Turbo, stock fronts but fat rear [jam [jam

I personally don't like it but I really like arch/wing mods that are aggressive but flows with the rest of the car. When I think of aggressive arches, cars that come into my mind are...old Audi Quattro, Skyline R32 GTR, Lancia Integrale Turbo and to a certain degree, an Escort Cosworth...flame suit *on*

Nooooooo.

Sorry dude, but that just does not look right. It's all personal preference but it just looks too Max Power. Going wide is fine, but not so that it doesn't blend. You want something that makes you know it's not standard but that looks like it might have come that way, doesn't look out of place (Nicks idea with the M3 rear wings would look SICK!!!! [bow ).

Also, I believe a wide body M3 vert was done by the owner of Surrey Car Radio Wide Body M3 (http://www.surreycarradio.co.uk/bodykitsgallery.htm) . Not the same kit.

That House of Kolor Candy Red though, now your're talkin' [jam [banana [jam .

Flossman. M3 only :( Unless you get custom work and I don't think there's anyone I would trust to do that work to a high standard. We don't have that level of capability in the UK. At least, that's my own personal opinion

Why is it M3 only, curious? Will it not fit a coupe :(

Your right i dont think ive seen one bodyshop i would trust to do that kind of conversion on my car.

According to the guys on e46fanatics Flossman only make the kit for the M3. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but the only 3 I've seen, the one Durgesh posted, Chrome M3 and Lieberman's UberM3 are the only one's i've seen the kit on, not seen the kit on a non-M.

mmmm i'm not to sure dude but then i am a stickler for keeping things kind of OEM you have seen my mates e30 drop top with the house of colour kandy weird orange its a nice car but i'm just not a fan of big kits but each to their own :-) if u like it do it 2k for a respray is agood price i assume thats without the cost of th epaint coz that paint an't cheap

BigFas

£2k is for labour only. Paint will be extra, but in the big scheme of things, paint is a bargain

Dude you gonna go through with this, it will be the hottest E46 in the UK. The other M3 vert with the zeemax kit is dreadful.

If i dont get in the Gumball/ultimate rally/cannonball next year ill get the flossman for sure. But for now my seats and rollcage are top of the list.
