As some of you may know from a previous thread, i've been racking my brain deciding on a new car, well I finnally got one.

I was pretty set on the Nissan Murano and the I drove the Touareg and the build quality together with a £3k discount on new did it for me.

Then something caught my eye and I though it was worth stretching my budget for. At first I thought I was making a mistake but boy was I wrong.

Its not the nicest looking car on the road but wow, its built like a tank and drives so well. Yes its a Porsche Cayenne 3.2 V6 Tiptronic S

Performance wise its not great but thats not what I was looking for in my next car, it fits every other criteria though.

Picked it up ten days ago but havent had a chance to post coz i'm recovering from an operation.

It is 9 months old, uk supplied and has 5000 miles on the clock - and its in mint condition!

Spec is as follows:

Tiptronic S Gearbox
Basalt Black Metallic Paint
Stone FULL grey leather
Porsche PCM (navi) with Phone Module
SportDesign 19" Alloys
Park Assist
Dual Zone Climate Control
Privacy Glass
Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel
Heated Electric Seats

So far only done two little mods - Cayenne rear Badge in Aluminium (was black) and original Aluminium Pedals as on the S and Turbo.

Will post pics when i'm feeling a bit better.

Congrats [cool [cool

Now that's an intimidating car on the road. A Turbo was right behind me yesterday on the A41 yesterday and I just pulled over for him, forgetting that I can actually have a good run with him :D

Now that's road presence

Thanks guys, cant wait to drive it more. Fas, not a big fan of the Gemballa, its all about Techart!!

To be honest though not really thinking about bdy styling, my priority with mods is as follows:

Tint front two windows to match OEM privacy glass
Rims - open to suggestions, please!!!
Multimedia - spoke to Nav-TV who have a new module coming which will let me plug a DVD player in to view on the main screen plus any additional monitors.

If anyone has any suggeestions.recommendations for the above, please let me know!

What ever you do, please dont get the Khan wheels on like every damn cayenne i see. Go for something different.

Lee, I know every tom dick and harry has them on his car, but the kan's really do suit the cayenne.

Another option for rims are the Vemiri Arnage's (www.vemiri.com)

Vemiri is essentially another division of Kahn's. But I agree they look best on SUVs.
