After an impromptu meet last night at Icecold's place, was driving home, came into Slough and got stuck behind a taxi. Undertook him but got stuck at some traffic lights. In my rear-view, I see a vauxhall omega GUNNING it down the road and RIGHT behind me. I couldn't see the people inside, but knew it had to be an unmarked car.

I'm shitting my bricks, I know they can't do me for speeding, because they didn't have any evidence (estimations don't count), but I've got a non-standard number plate, tints, etc. so I'm thinking, they're gonna pull me and give me a hard time.

Anyhoo, lights turn green, I turn into a driving angel, speed limits observed, regulation gap between me and the next car. Omega then pulls up beside me, slightly overtakes me and then a "Police - Slow Down" sign flashes in the rear window. I pull up alongside, drop the window, and see a VERY good looking lady cop, she says "nice car - just slow down". I say thank-yah!

I remember being round Westside's place not long ago, parked up on the side of the road minding my own business, when a Met-Police van pulls up and they have a go at my number plate saying they were contacting DVLA blah-blah.

TVP - Gotta love 'em :D

They can be right bastids aswell when they wanna be though, but TVP do seem to be more likely to have a smile and a quiet word if they see you're willing to play their game, rather than the Met who are just money-churning meat-processing litigation monkeys.

One of the guys at work got tugged for 97 on Tuesday. He put his hands up and told them he was late going home and had got carried away with his speed and apologised, so they just marked it as 'excessive speed' on the ticket and gave him an FP rather than a summons. Fair play to them, I can deal with that kind of law enforcement.

It was your slippers dude! But then they knew they would get sued for racial profiling, so they picked on my poor number plate instead ;)

Digs, next time man. I was shitting myself too much to bring my game to the table :p

Hahaha.

Thats quite some luck fas, if it was around here they would not only write u a ticket but they would probably keep you and "inspect the car" (admire it). Gotta love cops with some savvy.

Nah. That would have meant she would have had to step on the Met Police turf and that would have started an inter-force rumble :D
