Hey guys, just wondering if anyone on here has contacts to get stuff like the bm54 radio, mk4 sat nav dvd, gps, tv aerial and the digital tuner

ive been searching for ages on ebay. but the prices seem up and down. i found a guy with the screen, wiring loom, relocation unit for £450. which im tempted to take off him, and then find all the other bits.

Why not just go after market you will get it cheaper theres a alpine sat nav system on ebay at the moment for £800 however its been up for a while do you could probably get it for cheaper.

OEM just looks good but alpine is better

I hunted and researched for ages trying to source all the bits etc, and I concluded the best option is to deffo go aftermarket. Way cheaper and MUCH less hassle.

check out these pics of various double DIN installs:

most of those units are sat-nav, dvd, radio, tv, bluetooth all-in-one jobbies.
I was thinking of something like one of these:

If you can be bothered with going the OEM route, the factor finish would be satisfying though :).

do a search on the forums. There is loads of threads on retro fitting Sat Nav. As for all the parts, ebay is normally the cheapest area. You do find time to time someone selling a complete setup and I'm thinking more so coming up to Christmas for the obvious reasons. I'd go after market as the sav nav is current and not working on 2001 technology which is what your wanting to buy.
