Modding cars is huge fun and you get a real sense of achievement when you have created something that is just a little bit different to all other cars on the road. The problem comes when you sell. Now, I keep everything which is fine, saves me having to scour ebay etc to get OEM parts back but, it is an utter pain in the butt going back to standard, exhausts, brakes, suspension, the list goes on. What makes it harder is that I just don't have time to fit all this in but somehow I am getting there. Just the brakes, springs and clifford alarm to come out and it is back to OEM. One thing I have found nice about demodding a car is that it is like removing its personality and hence I personally find it easier to move it on (I get very attached to my cars :o ).
Starting the job :( .

Now for the good stuff. Took some bits to my bodyshop and this evening after signing the papers on the M3 and then X3 I collected them. Really nice finish and cost me no more than what it would for four packs of spray cans which wouldn't have done all this anyway!!

And for the first time I saw our new X3 this evening in the compound at the dealers. Only got some rubbsih camera phone pics but it looks really nice. Hopefully my wife should be pleased with her new ride ;) .
