I met James May when I was going to Budapest on the 16th (Friday). He was going to test the new Fiat 500 against a bicycle:) Got chatted to him for a while, and he owns a Fiat Panda, A Roller (Corniche) and a Boxter s:)

I did..just could not resist as he was alone. His production crew was waiting for him though:) He is exactly as he is on TV and very very laid back, down to earth and so friendly. I even asked him why he always ended up with driving shit cars and his answer? He likes shit cars:)

The Chairman of my company is good friends with Clarkson - Apparently they shared digs when at uni or something like that. I'm a member of the technical team at this place and we're forever having to release email traffic between the two, because they get blocked by the email systems because of the naughty language.

did anyone hear the southern counties radio show they did about a year or so ago? it was the most hysterical thing ive heard in a long time, especially clarksons 'name & shame' twist to the traffic reports :)
