New Alternator...

My alternator went on my M3 and got towed to my local BMW dealer. They fixed it the next day and tried to charge me £607!! even though the car is still under warranty... :mad:

How expensive can an Alternator be?

They're notoriusly overpriced items from BMW. Out of warranty it's way better to get it re-wound and re-conditioned. How unlike BMW to try and tear a bollock off you with it still in warranty though... :rolleyes:
