LOL Afif, try harder, I can get 23mpg from my vert no sweat. ;) Usually get around 300 miles from a full tank of Optimax going to work and back. If I get in the mood and work the volume control a bit then it's 250 tops, but losing 50 miles is worth it for the fun lol.. :D

My Z4 3.0....
Full tank, 55 litres, costs about 45 quid...
Gives me about 180 miles, but thats all London traffic... With quite a playful right foot!

why put in a fiver worth of fuel!? surely you would spend more time and money going to a petrol station starting and restarting your car! [hmm
Come on mate, dig deep! :D

its ok when you actually have serious power in higher gears :p... some of us (ok maybe just me) have to actually put in some serious revs to enjoy ourselves  .

Cost me 50 quid to fill up exactly when when the red light comes on. From that, combines city/motorway driving (around 150-200 miles on mway) i get between 360-400. Since last fill up, my MPG says 36 :)
Best ive had from my 318ci 2.0 valvetronic is 425 from a full tank - 90% motorway @ 80mph

With my old car (318 Valvetronic) I got 490 miles from a full tank once... cruising to Hull and back on cruise at 75mph!
I was in shock at how incredible the car was on fuel!

It's all relative me ol' mucker, bear in mind that mine pours petrol down the drain when I'm sitting at traffic lights while yours is usually better off there hehehe. :) Then again, respect to ya for driving hard enough to get the consumption down that low lol
I tell you what I have noticed, putting cruise on whenever you get half a chance to do it really seems to help fuel efficiency. I've done 2 runs to Birmingham in the last fortnight - on the second one I was going way faster cos I was in a hurry (carving through town and a good 15-20mph quicker on the motorway), and I had the roof down aswell, but I flicked cruise on every chance I got and OBC read almost 1mpg more than when I'd taken a chill drive up there without using it the week previous. It goes on every chance I get now.

I always use cruise control on the motorway, saves loads of fuel. Tend to dose off after a while though, gets a bit boring at 80mph for 200miles. :o
yea i dont use cruise control much at all. Dont like it that much. Doesnt feel like im in full control. I only use it when theres coppers on the motorway so i just set it to 75 and cruise along till they leave .
