You know you want to buy an Xbox and get hooked up on Live.

Fas,

Kudos to the Xbox, great system and all... but there is a certain beauty to playing in High res... Ed will probably disagree....

Secondly the PC version of the second game will have more graphical whistles to accomodate newer PC graphics engines. The XBox version will look better than the original for sure but still lag behind the pc

Firstly there is something to be said for having it on a big screen in a native resolution to the tv in progrssive scan. (XBOX HD pack) Thus giving an exceptional picture.

Secondly the cost of the xbox is far less than even the cost of a new graphics card, and i know in diggs case that is a benfit as his machine does not support PCI express.

Secondly the biggest market for the game will be the consoles and as such they will put all the money into that version. The PC version will be a port from the xbox and thus is unlikly to have any major enhancments.

Most importantly you cant use XBOX Live which is by far the best online service. You can talk to you friends and also there are more people out there playing online with live than there are PC users with NFSU2.

Ots, man i love pc's and i totally get res, but there are some cases where it just makes more sense to do it the console way.

Ed... I was expecting this:

Firstly there is something to be said for having it on a big screen in a native resolution to the tv in progrssive scan. (XBOX HD pack) Thus giving an exceptional picture.

[Ots] Not going to disagree

Secondly the cost of the xbox is far less than even the cost of a new graphics card, and i know in diggs case that is a benfit as his machine does not support PCI express.

[Ots] PCIe benefits at the moment are ZERO. The correct phrase should be, if you have the kit to run this game in all it's glory, it WILL look better than the xbox version.

Secondly the biggest market for the game will be the consoles and as such they will put all the money into that version. The PC version will be a port from the xbox and thus is unlikly to have any major enhancments.

[Ots] Ofcourse as this is a game created for the console market, not to say the PC port will be any worse for it in this scenario. The last 'port' was amazing. Incorrect for the first game though. Shaders 1 is not a console feature and was up and running for the PC version of the game, so some additional enhancements had been made. One could argue that as the XBOX sdk is a xbox spec pc, the porting prospect between xbox-pc and vice a versa is blurred.

Most importantly you cant use XBOX Live which is by far the best online service. You can talk to you friends and also there are more people out there playing online with live than there are PC users with NFSU2.

[Ots] For a statement like that, we have to know how many people have Xbox live and buy this game and use it, and how many people play this on a PC with net access and use it. I would agree that the XBOX live experience is better..

Ots, man i love pc's and i totally get res, but there are some cases where it just makes more sense to do it the console way.

[Can't argue with that but I don't think that is entirely true

BigFas do you have an XBOX with Live?

From one of your other comments i assumed you did.

Ots, i only know mikko who has one and i dont even know if he is going to get the game.

So on that one you are right. It would be great if we all got them, especially as they only cost £99 now.

Yeah, it's called "Don't be lame by playing FIFA, get Pro Evolution Soccer 4!"

FIFA suck big time.

Pro Evo is the only one.

If there is one place that will help you it will be here
