Anyone able to offer advice on some speakers?

Hi Guys,

Was just wondering if anyone could offer their opinion regarding some speakers i have been offered as ICE really isn't my thing and i don't really know that much about it.

I have been offered some JL Audio TR650 CXi Coaxials for stupidly cheap money (brand new). I was just wondering if i would see any noticible improvement by putting these speakers in.

I have done a couple of searches and most results say 6.5" will fit, i just don't wanna buy them if they're not gonna make any improvement to the stock speakers.

I have already replaced the factory headunit with this Pioneer bluetooth headunit and an ipod adaptor.

Please excuse my ignorance in this field but replacing the head unit is about as adventourous as i've ever been when it comes to ICE.

Cheers dude, Was a bit of a pain in the arse modifying the carrier to fit but worth the effort i think. :D

go for it! components would be better but JL coaxials would be a improvement over standard. amp them if you can.

if you getting them at a good price get them, JL Audio is top quality gear, ive got JL Subs in my car and amp and its the best money i spent.

£25.00 with free delivery. For that money i reckon i thought it's gotta be worth a punt so here they are! Asked him for components but he only had one set left and they had sold for £75.00.

Got something of a bargain on ebay last night 2, genuine M3 mirror, £46.00!!! Boom! think he thought he was gonna get more than that for it! Nevermind. search goes on for an O/S unit now and then i think i'l put the speakers in when i strip the doors down to change the mirrors. :D :D :D
