If youv'e lost a lot of oil in the past month or two you might have a bit of a prob' mate, if so get your car to the local dealer asap!

...er shouldnt you be checking the oil level every 1-2 weeks?? or is that just me!

Deffo need to check the oil level first as it may not be losing oil (and just the sensor is dodgy). If the oil level has dropped significantly then you need to get it checked ASAP. There are a couple of different things it could be, so it's best to just get it checked to be sure of the real cause.
