E39 Door Speaker size?

Apologies if this has been asked numerous times But I have done a search and not been able to find any info.

I am unsure if the standard door (front) speaker size is 4" or 5.25"

Andy can you confirm for me please? (or any other E39 owners)

Could I fit a 4" in the door?

Let me rephrase that, I have a set of 4" focals that were meant to go in my E60 which is now sold. I don't really want to sell them as they are brand new. Could these be fitted somewhere in the existing manufactuers speaker locations? doors or shelf perhaps?

You can fit them yeah, but have you got a sub at all as they will not have any bass at all?
