View Full Version : Pics of my mistress...

After my 2nd to last night shift, I decided that I needed to do something apart from the sleep-work-sleep-work-sleep-work thing... So I went to the MetroCentre to get my car a bit of TLC while I had breakfast. I got distracted by an Xbox 360 rally game and 1 hour later picked up my mistress without breakfast...oops...:o
It's not easy finding a spot to take pics in Newcastle. There's just too many people around... Eventually I stumbled across a deserted, gated road and put my mean (i.e. laughable) photo skills to the test... I'm no Peppernick, but at least they are in focus...
Teddy's Hamann Fog covers don't really transform the front, more like add a subtle, slightly more individual look, perfect for my tastes...

The mod(s) with the most visual impact are the 19" Volk CE28's (courtesy of Tedster again), which show the Tarox 10's (from CA-Auto) much better than the MV2's. I think the unusual colour complements the silver grey nicely, a bit different fromthe usual black/silver/chromes.

To announce my imminent arrival...

Multistorey carparks and tunnels have never been so much fun! I wish I had this during my trip to the 'ring...
Wave if you see me, m'kay?

Strangely, the mod that get's mentioned the most is this. (?)

My mistress in all her glory... She ain't so shiny, but at least she's clean...

THanks for looking.
Ben
P.S. I'd well be up for a photo meet in the north, if anyone's interested? I'd like to learn how to take proper photos

I love CE28's - had them on my S2000 - One of the lightest wheels out there IIRC?
Not keen on the colour combo, but WTF do you care about my opinion? Opinions are like arseholes, right?
Anyway, as a whole, your ride looks sweet, congrats on her, she's a beaut! :D

those wheels are SICK! I love how the gold, almost coppery colour works so well against the grey. it shouldn't work, but it does and VERY well.
Great execution of your vision, you've got a very unique car, you should be proud

Cheers fellas! I will definitely put up a side view soon. I got the rims off teddy, as another forum member here ordered it for an M3 but the rims were in the wrong offset. It seemed a shame to let them sit in teddy's garage, so I liberated them for an, ahem, appropriate amount of money.;)
I wasn't sure if the colour combo would have worked, but I am glad it did!
Nice shoes for Melissa ........
with a face like that, Nick, she's have to grind me until my pelvis is in bony shards...:P

Very Nice mate ! Loving the wheels on your car.
Please don't take offence, but your splitters are not on correctly. They should sit up as high as they go.
Car looking so good.... you should fix it, will only take 10mins, to take them off, and stick up them so they fit right.

Cheers for the words, bros!
I know the splitters aren't right. They have incurred some major faceplants due to speed bumps and me nudging high kerbs, so I will need replacement ones to go on, hopefully OEM clubsport ones or CF replicas. The ones I have on are replicas, but the fitment isn't 100% right. Anyone have CF Clubsport splitters they wanna give free?;) :D
I got the plates over the internet, from www.fancyplates.com (HTH!)
And as per requests, more whoring, now with wholesome sideways shots!
At the riverside somewhere on a deserted road with giant abandoned buildings...

It's been a good day bumming around newcastle, gonna go to bed now. Laters, bros!
Ben
P.S. Engine shots to come when I have it sparkly, SJD. Hopefully soon. Peace out.

Good god those wheels are gorgeous!:) That colour in CSL reps would look sick on my car! Except i'd be afraid it would attract too much attention from the wrong kind of folk:rolleyes:
Absolutely loving that. The wheels set it off so well..

I really need a front sport bumper :( .....
I don't think so 'dood. I think your front would be much more customised with a few add ons like a lip and some highlighting. Go with what you got and make it
