Are there many white E46 M3's in the UK? I know that Peppernick is a fan of them, but I really didn't appreciate just how nice they looked in the flesh until a recent trip to Florida.

Anyone have any pic's of a white coup'e?

no Nick you wouldn't, they all have bloody orange indicator bulbs lol! It's funny how sometimes people have done so much to their cars but forgot the little details :D

You're soooo right Teddy. It tends to be a lot of little details that give a huge impression. Have to say though, not a big fan of white cars but they DO look sweet  .

white is the most popular colour in Japan (over 40% of all cars) so i've seen plenty there too. Dubai was the same with..maybe something to do with the weather?>

Good reflection of the sun so keeps the interior a little cooler. I'd get a white car if I lived somewhere we actually got a lot of sun ;) .

This one is sick. I would love one. Never seen one in the uk. Id expect youd get a good deal on one too being white, they wont sell easily.

If you were worried about resale value, surley the car would be cheaper in the first place (if bought used) so you wouldnt be losing much, if anything.

All I can say guys is watch this space, CA will soon have a white M3, Im still trying to find "the right one" (and sell the Alpina) white M3's are nice and there arnt that many around, feeling the CSL theme and that is the route mine will go, with some added VA VA VOOM of course ala AA FI ;)

some taster pics of whats to come, what do you think :D "gona have the same wheels" Racing Dynamics,

All these parts are availble through CA from Carbon bonnets and CSL boots right up to the carbon roof panel for that "true" CSL theme,

If you were worried about resale value, surely the car would be cheaper in the first place (if bought used) so you wouldnt be losing much, if anything.
Not from a dealer though. They can't undercut the pricing on other M3s just because it's a rare/unpopular colour. The one that was on sale was a fully loaded 2002 car and the asking price was similar to other M3s.

However, what they can do is work out a very attractive part exchange/trade in deal so that the price of the actual car didn't look too ridiculous on their books. This is one of those scenarios that a cash purchase doesn't seem as attractive as a part exchange although overall if you already have a car you want to sell, you might get more than the market value for your car, but from a dealer.

This is exactly the scenario when I bought my M3 in Dec last year. They were desperate to sell but has reached the maximum discount they can take off the car they have for sale. Then they continued to work on the discount by giving me further top ups on my old car. Close to £2700 in the end.

If m hoest I was unsure as to the origin of those wheels in the first picture but looking at that picture youve posted Im convinced those are the wheels to go for. I was going to go for OZ supper leggra 3's (had these on my Evo 6 and they were really nice) but as we are an agent for Racing Dynamics I am opting for a far more "classy " set of wheels

That pic is  nick

This is the best pic I had of the RS2-F which is why I found it hard to tell the differance

I think everyone stereotype a white car being difficult to keep clean is because of the dirty Transit vans we see on our roads. They are not any more difficult to keep clean than black cars. And for those who keep their cars clean, white is actually a very good colour as it doesn't show up the usual blemishes of stone chips, scratches etc. as the base coat is the same colour. Even places like New York and Japan where the sun doesn't always shine, there are still tons of white cars about and they still look good.
