well i finally got round to fitting theses :)

I brought a second hand sub box out of a e46 m3 and it just need a new front face and covering so i got to work fitting the subs.. ;)

I'm still working on the false floor it should be finished by next weekend. :)

On Saturday my mate came round and fitted theses ( i was busy fitting eibach shocks, springs, lower arm bushs, angel eyes, rear bump stops and new top mounts to a e46 dude who had come down from Glasgow (i'm national now lol no one is safe) do u guys know him where is invisible kid lol

Wicked bro. Car is looking sweeter than ever. Like the sub box, nice to have the subs on show :cool: . You have been busy with invisible_kids ride (we need to see pics now). Love the headrest monitors (they always [jam ). Gonna have to get the rest of my ICE sorted now :D .

yeah i spent all of saturday on invisble kids car the rear shot mounts were shot to pieces i.e the rubber had fallen out of the metal mount :eek: the rear shocks were leaking and shagged anyway now he has the eibach springs shocks new lower arm bushs etc etc the car will handle so much better :-)

yeah the screens were just fnished then tighting the leather is minor that be sorted this weekend the amp is a kicker amp more then enough to power the 2 10 it runs 350 wats rms at 4 ohms per channel so thats boosted :-) replaced the front stock speakers with infinity did get the jbl but didn't like them so got those instead :-)

What amp are you using for your components? Or is the Kicker a multi channel one?

nick at the moment the speakers are being powered by the headunit (50watt * 4) when i fiqure out what speakers i can replace the rear stock ones with i may then amp them up :-) for now the subs rea;;y drop look at the magnets lol i'm using the sub out on the headunit so i control the sub independant of the other speakers, the front and rear speakers are for mid and trebble and i just have the b line running through the subs sounds wicked man and drops real hard

Which Infinity components you went for? I was going to get the Kappa 6.5" for the fronts but the JBL deal was too good to miss. What aspect of the JBLs you are not happy with?

Are they the JBL GTO 6506 Ce 6.5"?

nick when i fitted them they were really tinny and sounded as though there were shorting something elses out. I went back to car audio security and they said as i don't have HK i woul dhave to wire them dorectlhy to the headunit by passing the cross over. that was crap becuase i fitted the same infinity speakers ti my mates 323 who didn;t have HK and they worked fine. SO i told him that but he didn't believe me but i told him i didn;t want the JBL anymore i wanted the infiinity i went home fitted them and bobs your uncle they were fine that chap was chating crap sp either

a the JBL were fucked
b they just didn't like the ohms rating the headunit was giving out

However are u runniong the JBLs that u brought through your headunit or a amp?

I'll be running the front components and rear co-axials via a 4 channel amp. Hopefully it's better as I would be using the cross overs. Heard the demo, it's pretty good.

WHAT? Cris drove all the way down from Glasgow for the full Kav treatment? That's unheard of but I hope he spent overnight somewhere and not drove thru the night :eek: anyway, I bet he's taking some nice pics as we speak:)

im loving it kav... Glad u got on ok with the box... I started my ice on the weekend. Just waiting for the third sub to arrive and the new carpet and wiring and head rest screens.... Need to come down to you to get me new springs fitted aswell mate...
