Drivers side mirror not folding

Passenger side works and folds fine but drivers side has given up..is there a separte fuse or do i need to purchase a complete housing..

First thing i'd do is check that none of wires going from inside the door to the mirror have broken and the connection is fitted properly. If its not the wiring then i'd assume the motor is at fault which you can't buy seperate from the mirror.

As speed sais, its common the harness breaks, if thats no the case you need a new mirror unit.

I think they are around £300 from the dealer but i could be wrong. I had the same problem recently but got lucky and found someone selling just one side. Have a look on ebay, you might find something then just get it resprayed.

just had an idea..passenger side mirror folds up and works fine..drivers side mirror works fine but just doesn't fold up..so if i buy a set of folding mirrors presume i can sell mine and advertise them as non-folding hence get some money back..

Auction is nearing end ..does someone know if these will fit as i don't know which year car they are from and mine is 2002..presume fitting is same also what price should i bid upto..
