Hi guys my cars in the body shop having the finishing touches done to it. Last thing for me to decide is whether i have the mesh &/or fog surounds painted light silver, dark silver or leave them black.

Heres some pics of the light silver. My photography skills arent the best, but you get the idea. I'm starting to think that maybe i should leave the mesh black and only the fog surrounds in silver. By mon or tues i should have pics of the darker silver shade up as well, which i think may look a little subtler and thus better?

yeh i would leave the fogs silver and have the mesh in black.
the silver mesh makes it look a bit tacky IMO.

i personally dont like any silver on the black cars but its your taste - all i would say is that i think you should fit the same mesh from the bentley gt as its chrome. Your grills are a chrome look and the mesh is silver - i think they clash thats all

One things for certain, chrome and silver don't go so I would first change your kidney grille for a black one, that's probably why it looks so odd at the moment, the silver is'nt that bad :)

Those silver fogs look utterly 'wrong' in silver, I'd black them out in a heartbeat. The mesh doesn't look horrible, or as Paul suggested it wouldn't if you de-chromed the grilles, but I'd still be painted to black it out as it'll look better irrespective of what you do with the grille.

I actually do have a set of black kidneys, but i painted the outer rims silver (one light & one darker silver) to test out a few other ideas.

I agree that the light silver is just too much. Maybe the darker titanium grey silver will look better. I just wanted to try something a little different, and thought this was a perfect oppurtunity as I always thought what the M3 bumper would look like with its mesh painted silver. You'll never know unless you try!

Seeing that I would just black it all out AND remove the light brows :o

Those silver fogs look utterly 'wrong' in silver ....
They were 'hot' back in 2002, as were the silver inner headlamp surrounds and mascara style eyebrows ....... lol :D

Looking back at the Clubsport, I am thinking to myself WTF was I thinking back then ....... :D

Unfortunately the eyebrows need to go on as its an M3 bonnet being fitted and there is a very slight gap between the bonnet and the headlight. But once i get the car back i'm gonna fit the straight eyebrows like these:

While i wait for the dark silver (& contemplate what i should do) heres a few more combos:
