Could anyone offer me some advice on how I can achieve this? I would really like to play DVDs and also hook up a PS2 to the SatNav system. Is this something I could DIY? Any advice welcome.

Cheers

whats up bro,

one way to do it would be to use an adapter from soundlinks which gives you an aux input to your factory screen. from there you can either plug a dvd player directly into it or using an av selector box plug both the dvd and ps2 into it.

anything else you want to know please do hesitat to ask me.

yep, andy's spot on there, but one thing you need to make sure is that the adapter allows the vid feed to continue, whilst the car is moving. The std oem nav/tv screen will cut out, when you start moving.. due to the law. No tv watching allowed for the driver, for obvious reasons

However, I believe that for passengers (certainly 2 rear screens), the "live" vid feed is fine.

Many thanks for advice. You are totally right about the picture cutting out when you are moving. I've stumbled upon this cable: http://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/tvinmotion2.html

I should then just be able to hook up a DVD Changer and PS2 to finish the job.
