ok i dunno if there is posts for this alreeady but i'll ask anyways.
what is the best car battery 2 upgrade 2 if there is such a thing...
and does any1 know if u can make your lights come on when u unlock or lock ur car?
cheers guys.
I've got an Optima Yellow Top (supposed to be very good/rated). As for making the lights come on when you lock/unlock the door, then yes. I believe it can be programmed into the remote (but not 100% sure if that is just aftermarket alarms). I've seen it done on a couple of BMs. Someone else maybe able to shed some more light :o on the subject.

Best battery in my opinion is Odessey. They are dry cell, not liquid and although they are expensive they last forever:) even F3/GT cars/space shuttles use them.
i dunno about the light coming on but I've seen on other forums that you can activate ccfls when you unlock cars so I guess anything is possible
as far as i know theres no 'remote kit' for teddy's ccfl's. The wheelpower ones work like that. How much are those odessey batteries?

More info on Odyssey battery. ideal if u are running lots of battery draining ICE etc (no corrosive liquid so u can place it in any way). will also benefit things like headlight brightness during idle etc.

there is a way you can hook up the ccfls to the unlock feature of the car by using the door line and a simple realy system. speak to durgesh, he has it on his car.
the relay is pretty simple to wire up.

Yep all you need is the appropriate relay (which can be bought from any electrical store). Then you just link the trigger wire of the CCFLs to the interior light and you have remote CCFLs
I'll try to get you the relay no.

I thought you couldn't do that with the CCFLs. Does look cool though, I would consider it if I had remote central locking - hahaha.

Sure you can. It's all about splicing the current to the appropriate path with a relay.
