Hi guys,
After replacing my upper thrust arms (2001 540i Auto Sport Saloon), I replaced the stock bushes with some Powerflex ones. Some months later, these have failed and I have only just managed to get my money back from Evolve (previously, XS Performance).
Can anyone recommend me any alternatives that will not compromise the ride quality any more than the Powerflex?
Thanks.

Not sure if it's the weight of the V8 up-front but they have been failing all over the place on other cars such as the E46 as well. Read many-a-thread about this on the BMW Car Mag forum.

On the E46, I've found Powerflex bushes good for the front control arm rear bushes. For the rear trailing arm bushes, Powerflex can fail prematurely; hence, I've stuck with the OEM RTABs.

Do you have any suggestions for an alternative for me or shall I go back to OEM?
Thanks.
