I've started to corrupt my colleague by suggesting simple bulb upgrades for starters (sidelight and low beam) on the 2004 facelift 325Ci (non-xenon projector headlight). I had a quick look today and found the following:
a) access to n/s sidelight bulb holder is near impossible due to the air box
b) main low beam bulbs are encased in a square black housing, not exposed bulb holder where you twist and pull (like mine)
so some simple questions...
a) I assume that I will have to take the air box out to get to the sidelight housing (all the way to the MAF)?
b) I've not opened the black box but is it just a case of open housing, twist bulb, pull, replace...?
c) What's the best 6000k rated xenon look bulbs that improves road visibility and achieves 'white/blue look'? PIAA?
Come on guys, you guys have to make me look good!
