Thought I would just show you a couple of new pictures of my car after i had a couple of bits done.
I have de badged the rear and added a Carbon BMW badge and changed my plates.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Rjsiceman/P9190087.jpg
Up front now has the the new plate and I got the number plate holder made smaller to fit, I ditched the chrome grills and added the black ones, I have seen Imola cars with all black grills before and in my opinion there is to much black so I had the outside colour coded and I have to say I love how they came out. Again another Carbon badge and the new indicators and angel eyes.
I also changed the mirrors from M5/M3 replicas to genuine M3 mirrors.
The whole front end had a fresh coat of paint and got rid of all the stone chips and I am well pleased.
Just got to think what wheels and suspension set up to go for now.
Anyway I will let the pictures do the talking now:D

Whilst I am here I guess I could add a couple of pics of the interior to where I got rid of the horrible wood and replaced it with the Carbon Fibre:cool: and new gear knob as that was wood to:rolleyes:

love it mate :) I have done the same thing with my front grill, looks a treat, I know what you mean about too much black if you don't colour code the edge.
Love the CF - where did you source that from?

Thanks, I only wanted to go for subtle mods that only those in the know will know I have done;)
But I still have to change one or two other things, wheels and suspension and then I am pretty much finished.

Thanks mate, and yes it is condensation I will have to sort that asap, probably from when I fitted the angel eyes:(

The number plate holder was custom made:D, took a day to get it right, I got the Carbon Interior Trim before I joined this forum from Chromeline in the UK but I know CA Automotive (Forum Sponsers) do the same kit;)
I think I need to get a new signature now as the current one is a bit dated:rolleyes:

I had my local body shop do the number plate surround mod whilst it was in having the front end resprayed.
Basically he cut a lump out of the middle and then joined the two pieces back together and smoothed it all out and I saw it before it was sprayed and he had done a seriously good job on it, it looked factory on the front and the rear:D
Problem is it took him a day just to get it all spot on and you will need to have the bumper filled and resprayed as there are fixing holes for the holder on the outside edges which would look awful if you left them, you also have to back new holes on the under side of the bumper where it hooks in but that is simple compared to the rest.
He has an E39 M5 to do now as he saw mine, and he has a small plate on already just sitting in the large holder but again it is going to need the bumper filled and sprayed to get it looking spot on:cool:
But I think it is well worth it as I love it:D  , I wonder what I could do with the back number plate:confused: :D

Looks spot on mate - nothing like a fresh lick of paint to get the love affair back on track.
Wheels and suspension and that's it!

Car is looking good, maybe a set of CSL wheels and a nice drop that would sort it, and give you the look you are going for.
Also maybe a CSL bootlid and have the numberplate recess made smaller like the germans tend to do on oem bootlids, will be unique.

Yes mate had the whole front end blown over.
Thanks again for all the comments it makes it worth the effort, but then saying that I did it for me and I love it:D :p
I am really not sure what wheels to go for at the moment or suspension set up, I want something to set the car off just right so this hunt may take a while;)
