someone regular on the tracks told me that the axxis pads warp the oem discs. i have no idea, but maybe he meant in the sense that if used hard on a track. i want to get axxis pads too, but i got put off when he told me this. maybe he meant for heavy track use, they are no good.

Try cooper tunbridge wells for your inspection. They quoted me something like £900-£950 for the inspection 2 so I reckon you should be charged around £750 for the inspection1. Ring around, a grand for an insp1 is criminal. I have been using axxis ultimates on OEM disks for the passed couple of weeks and they were a good combination.

1k is way too much for inspection I unless you need every single bit replaced. paid 475 for inspection I for my previous M3. just ask the forum members who got contacts at BMW and get discount and buy the OEM M3 discs. I suppose your car isn't that old but how come you need to replace the front discs already?

Axxis pads with oem discs is a good combination. we have hundreds of customers running these without issue including myself & a few members here. They will stand up to light track use (my 540i among others is a proven example of that) but if the guy is using them for regular hard track use then he will have problems simply because their a fast road pad NOT a full race track pad. :)
