I've just hopped over from e36coupe I recognise a few names on here..

Nice site as well..

Anyhow, I'm looking for the best place to buy a genuine CSL bootlid for my e46.

Can someone tell me how much I should be looking at?

TIA

F13LDY!

I think you'll struggle to find a genuine CSL bootlid - u could be waiting for ages. Roy should be able to sort u out with a replica tho

the PBMW with the US Blue M3 on HREs as the cover feature, i think it's the latest one!

My experience with replica stuff makes me want genuine tho...

Although if the price difference is about £500 I could be swayed lol

Roy offers both genuine and replica CSL bootlids. The replica items are available in CF as well as plastic, PU I think.

I'm sure he'll be along later to say though. But I've seen Roy's stuff before, VERY good quality replicas

Think Roys are CF and GRP. Hand made so the fit will be near as damn it same as the csl.

Whichever you buy just avoid Revozport.

OEM gives the best fitment but plus painting and fitting, we're talker about nearly £900 for a new one.

Roy's GRP version is a good compromise if you're thinking of painting the bootlid anyway. I've seen the fitting and it's very good.

Go with OEM for fitment. The reps never really fit properly.Mine's OEM and fits like a glove

Hi Fieldy sorry for late reply .

please look at our Vorsteiner range on http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/carbon-f-e46-body-styling.shtml

all items available as single sided carbon , full carbon and FRP , all very high quality , vacuum formed . The fit is as close to OEM as you can get , not like all the others :o

give me a call and we will sort out a deal for you
