The car is going in this week to have a bit of work done so while there i thought i'd get the interior trims resprayed. I can't decide between getting it sprayed silver/alumium colour or carbon black. The carbon black will match the colour of the car but the silver would go with the aluminium pedals, gear knob and brake lever and be more of a contrast against the black leather interior. I've had a look but not managed to find any pics of each.

I think CB would look cool but it would need to have a shit load of clear coat

CB wouldn't work with a black interior, way too dark, plus it wouldn't have the same iridescant effect that it gets on the outside (less light on the inside to make the paint kick off). You need some contrast really, something like aluminum or titanium.

I sprayed my trims Titanium Silver just before the `ring trip but it doesn`t really go with the Black dash and LS Blue leather (the whole thing looks to "busy" to me) so I`m waiting for some C/F ones from Teddy.
With Black leather I think it will look very good. I had the Aluminium "Pillar" trims in my old E46 320d and it looked good against the dark interior.

Nothing could be as boring as the standard M3 trim.
