does n e 1 know where i can get hold of the widescreen sat nav for da e46 complete with the wiring loom???also how hard is it to fit?

keep an eye out on Ebay, one always crops up from time to time.
As for fitting, ALLEGEDLY it's pretty straightforward. Assuming you have the loom, all the connectors only plug in one way so assuming you can piece them all together you're good to go.
Here's a step by step write up with all the part numbers you need

cheers bruv, i found 1 guy on ebay b4 i think i still got his number, he wants i think £1700 fitted he goes he works for bmw, wat u guys think about the price??

£1700 will get you a MUCH better aftermarket system. Do a search for Pioneer Avic N1, bar none, the best system in the world today, £1400, single DIN unit

u saw a pic of it, the thing is bro wen the screen pops up the heat frm the vents not b good for it, plus dnt u think the original bmw widescreen looks slik, i dnt no man im confused :confused: :rolleyes:

OEM is definitely the best looking unit, but when the price tag is £1700 there are SO many other decent aftermarket systems about. Also, with regard to the airvents behind the screen when it's flipped, the centre vents have their own temperature control, just set it a little lower so the air blows neutral or cold, the rest of the car remains climate controlled.
it's 100% up to you :) put it this way, it's a great decision to be in a position to make ;)

dats true im gna av to look further into into. i really want a nav unit im my e46.should be getting ma projector indicators 2mo. :D
