Hey fellas/ ladies. I have my car booked in at pentagon on tuesday for some tints. Im not sure which to go for:
- light smoke
- smoke
I have a light colour leather!
does anybody have any pics of their cars (pref with light leather) with the either of the above tints?
thanks in advance!
Hiya Kam.
Picture is of my ride with 50% all round (which equates to light smoke, I believe).

How come your not using Kevin to do your tints?

btw..am quite please with ur references to ladies..and gals...!
even though I am the only one who is an active member of this forum!
did my tints at pentagon and they are great...but...I think they don't legally do smoke on the front windows anymore!
personally I think if u put light smoke..doesn't actually look like its tinted at all!

cheers har5ha. i wrote that with you in mind. i was going to put fellas and har5ha, but i thought other women may not be too impressed.
I agree, i think i may go with the smoke as i have a light colour leather which should lighten it up a little. im doing it as a foreigner so smoke should be fine all round.
Raj, pentagon have quoted me cheaper than kevin. The price they have quoted me with the hardtop is cvheaper than kevin without the hardtop. no brainer! plus pentagon is closer. Did you get kev to do yours?

Just thought i'd mention, my 328i is diamond black with cream leather interior and it has dark tinted windows, not sure on the percentage but there dark! Looks gorgeous when you have black car and light interior.
Go dark, trust me!

there are actually a few female members....
just don't think they check it regularly...I can think of at least 4 whom I know have joined..
Did you get kev to do yours?
Yeah mate, sure did. He has done an excellent job as usual. I have to admit, I am not a huge fan of a 35% tint (but this is just IMO). I went for 50% (light smoke) as I think it looks more OE. Having said that, saw Harsha's at HIN and actually thought smoke looked pretty good.
Surprised mate that Pentagon are charging less than Kevin (if you don't mind PM me how much they charged as I would be really interested).

the vert looks darker as the interior is black the coupe had grey leather so this obviously looked a tad light

I know a guy who can do your tints for a very good price in St.Albans, Herts.
This is where I got mine done and he does an excellent job, very reasonable rates and he will even give you a little courtesy car to go run around in while your tints are being done! Now thats service!
PS: he does the tints for the likes of R-Tec and Extreme motorsport as well as many Dealerships like BMW, VW, Audi, Jaguar, Chrysler to mention a few of the 100+ dealers he has on his books.
Light smoke is nice but when the sun is shining on it it does look like you don't have tints! but when its dusky it looks pure class!
And now with the legislation being that they can't tint the front windows, Light smoke is the safest bet IMO.
PM me if you require the Tint Guys details.

Shera, you are soooo right. During the day it looks fairly stock but when I drive around in the early evening/at night the tints look pure wicked. They look spot on and at least I have no probs with the old bill. I get enough compliments... :D . It's always down to individual choice. But round my ways, you go too dark on the tints and you get serious hassle.

One thing I will give u the heads up on..is pentagon tints for some reason are ligher than other places...for eg..I had smoke from Pentagon and Durgesh has light smoke from Teddy's guy and they both appear to be the same.
I guess how black u go..depends on how gansta u r...lol!!
Maybe some pics of Ali's old car might help...
