Hi guys,
Just come back from having my car lowered! it looks stunning, the arches sit over the wheels perfectly. Well happy! Only problem is that the front bumper touches the ground when i reverse up my driveway! (slight slope) And to make things worse my new front splitter turned up today nad i've just 'offered it up' against the bumper on the driveway and there is no way i can get my car up the driveway with it lowered and a splitter, but the splitter looks SOOO good! just gonna have to park at bottom of driveway and let the girlfriends clubsport go on the driveway for a change!
Anyway post pic's real soon, just gotta get splitter painted and fitted (5 days) and have a few other subtle mods going on as well, and the cold air induction from ssdd'.
Anyway like i said when its all done pics will be on here straight away!
I'm going for cruise!

You may want to consider putting some planks to decrease the angle between your drive way and road ;)
Don't adapt your car to fit the driveway, adapt the driveway to suit your car :D
Sorry, but no excuses......................

Do you have the Sportline fitted or coilovers, as I would be very surprised with Pro-Kit springs.

The springs are H & R and the shocks have stayed the same. My aim was to drop the front over the wheel with no gap, the rear is like that anyway so all i needed was a TINY drop on the rear but something a bit bigger, i looked at coilover's but considering i wanted the front dropping only 30/40mm and the rear 10mm or nothing at all i thought coilover's would simply be a waste of money. So the H & R lower 35mm front and 10mm back, on paper it was perfect, but was worried how it'd turn out in practice.
But now there on they are PERFECT, front and back sit over the wheels perfectly! No rubbing, if i'd got coilover's then in my opinion i'd have just wasted £600/900 but instead its all in for £200 (know the manager of a local garage who fits bits for me VERY cheap)
The moral of this story?............ trust your instincts!

There's nothing i can do to the drive! trust me! just gonna have to bite the bullet and park at the end of the driveway. Wooden planks wont make any differene! i'd have to decrease the angle of the driveway! that would be impossible! it would make the driveway so long it would extend to the OTHER side of the road! so unless i buy the road the girlfriend gets the driveway!......
If only i had the money!
But if i did i'd spend it on a CSL not a portion of road!!!

H & R race springs! and i'm running on 18's. front splitter not on for about another 5 days, when its done i'll post pics of car/driveway.
The driveway is about 2/3 feet longer than the car, there is no way it can be done, driveway to short and car to low (especially with splitter). If it could be done it would cost thousands and i can think of better ways of spending that money.
I'm not worried about the car getting nicked/damaged because that dont happen here, especially where i live, and the car will be about 20ft from the kitchen window.

You're not the only one who can't park in their drive. Mine's not even lowered yet and I have to park in the street.
Could do with some pics matey. I am currently considering lowering mine on a prokit but my driveway is quite steep too. I don't really want to have problems with scraping all the time.
Sounds wicked though... [cool
