ASA M3 supercharger (E46)......Nick

Saw this pic on Rennsport. Looks like Technik have used an ASA supercharger on there M3. Correct me if im wrong though. Next mod Nick????

It's still in developement but most likely it'll be sold as a Technik upgrade rather than ASA/Infinitas. Will drop Christian a line ;)

Im sure they'll be selling the Kit though, and knowing Technik it will be quality.

Wonder if it produces near the 440hp AA kit?

We will keep people advised as this kit becomes avalible through ASA Infinitas (we are the UK agents)

At present the AA kit for both the US/Euro spec M3 engines is avalible, you will be able to see the M3 AA kit on a car near you very soon ;)

Going to speak to ASA soon though to try and get some info, If it is the case of it producing more power than the AA kit, I might have to have a re-think.

Dude youve got an Alpine white M3! pics!

I dont ASA are gonna be producing an E46 M3 kit as they cant guarantee the strength of the internals. Although you'll prob know if im wrong?

The ASA kit is currnetly avalible for the M3 and they are running it on there Us spec car (see this months PBMW) the kit produces 442 bhp and 339lb ft of torque at the flywheel, 345bhp and 265.1lb ft of torque at the wheels at 5.5 psi boost, up from 265-270bhp and 230-235lb ft of torque as standard (gain of 80.7 RWHP and 35.1lb ft of tourque) these figures are qutoed from the US spec engine which is less powerful than the Euro spec motors due to emissions laws. This kit has no internal engine mods and is a true bolt on kit,

I dont think that the ASA one will produce much more power as the M3 E46 is pretty much at its limit without opening up the motor at 450bhp.

But we shall wait and see,

As for pics lee, wait until its finished ;) , my new monster wil be a site to behold and VERY quick to boot, (if I ever make my mind up about the engine choice, V8 - supercharger - or Racing Dynamics RDS32 complete engine)
