Light reflection question

I was going to colour code (orient blue) the headlight inner piece but still in two minds as I am also thinking about chrome. So a few questions before I take this on:

- If I chose chrome, will this (negatively) affect the beam patterm (i.e. worse beam dispertion, increased glare etc.)?
- Will the headlight area look too 'shiny' as the chrome reflects light beams in all directions (i have normal halogen headlights with HID kit)?

I've seen Durg's one in silver but just wanted some feedback so any help will much appreciated.

dude my old car had silver on it (just painted it myself) which suited the car i am waititng for my carbon ones to turn up :-). Yours are currently black so u could paint them the same colour as the car if you wanted
