kids throw a brick at my M3 :-(

minding my own business driving past sutton park entrance in streetly (very nice area) one member of a group decides to lob a quarter of a brick into my back seat, it misses and hits the plastic bit where the fold away roof is under. :(

luckily it did not hit the bootlid and only minor damage, just a few tiny dents, nevertheless i was angry as hell. i slammed on the brakes (man my brakes are friggin good) grabed the c.s canister from the hiding place and proceeded to chase the mothers, they were already legging it before i hit the anchors, man they were fast and they got away. :(

about 6 of them in all between 15 and 17. went out on the ped earlier to look but no sign.

why would someone want to do that to my car[?] what did i do[?] i help the local school every year allowing work experience placements on site, i teach em, train em and give great references. n e way, rant over and very very lucky only a tiny bit of damage.

I feel for your Matt. I too had to endure a catalogue of vandalism etc. in the past. 3 cars stolen, 7 break-ins, 2 vandalism...most recently, I had to endure 6 months of 'eggman' in my neighbourhood whereby cars were egged regularly (one night I got an egg thrown threw my grill/radiator so I didn't notice it until the smell got bad)...At the end of the day I too would like to Bruce Lee Special all these teenagers but most likely you'll just have to live with it and stay alert. at least the brick didn't hit you/anywhere else

I know exactly how you feel matt...I had someone throw a stone at my car a couple of months ago which marked the bonnet, and i've had someone shoot a paint ball gun at me while in my vert....good thing I had the window up :mad:

In the past few years this has increased with kids running wild :mad:
