yea the mild convertable was rigged by an entry which should have been in the wild catagory [bang.

right after it was announced this guy came over to me flex and andy who were baby sittin the rides and he really thought durgesh won the mild bmw catagory [hmm.

Hi it was me who won the mild convertible trophy

firstly i would like to say that i didnt have a choice to what catergory i was put in - the organisers make that decision !!

to be honest i dont consider my car to be wild styled - that catergory is for cars that have been extensively modifed inc bodykits etc - mine runs a std m3 kit with a few minor changes (hardly a break from the norm)

the only major change i have made is the interior - so would you say this makes the car wild ?? most ppl have retrims so i wouldnt class this as a wild mod ??

so i dont see how anyone can say it was rigged ??

Saying the event was rigged is harsh. Everyone rolled in through the same doors ,and the same 3 judges circled the categories they thought were appropriate (though differentiating between a coupe and a covertible is a different thing ;) ) Aaron, congrats on your win dude, another one for the trophy cabinet :)

Everyone wants to win the prizes up for grabs, and it is a disappointment when you don't walk away with one, BUT, what do you do about it?

1. Do you mod to win prizes or do you mod for your own personal satisfaction?
2. If you mod to win prizes, then take a good look at the judges decisions and take inspiration from them and mod to that degree
3. If you mod to for your own personal satisfaction (which I know we all do) then carry on what you're doing.

Like I said on LMC Aaron, was really good to meet the LMC crew, great bunch of guys and if there's any room for collaboration, we're up for it :)

yea by rigged i was having a go at the judges way of chosing not at u. Didnt really think people would stoop so low as to cheat to get prizes [hmm. I still reckon your cars got a more wild aura than mild though ;).

I have to say I don't feel it was rigged, however I think some of the staff were half a sleep or very drunk.

Personally I mush prefer your car to the "other" one! [cool

However saying that, all I found confusing is how the two cars were put into different events, ie Mild / Wild. The difference between them from the little I know, is very small. It's like puting Fas's in Wild and mine in Mild.

Aaron please correct me if I am wrong.....

Example of thier Dumbness, was the fact that they labelled me as a 2dr, same thing happened with Fas, and infact gave Harsha her form to fill in as she wanted.

Who won Mild Vert last year...???

Didn't meant to imply that you rigged it..but overall the staff had no idea what they were doing.

They didn't check my petrol tank..didn't check my boot or bonnet..yet they drove fas crazy coz he couldn't open his bonnet.

I showed them my form..he asked me to circle 2 door..and didn't even bother to see what else I had filled out...if i had put wild..i don't think he would've cared...as long as something was filled in!

To be fair..its a very fine line between wild and mild...and guess its subjective!!

To me..there didn't seem to be a huge difference between the winners of wild and mild..but I didn't really actually look at the closely...just saw the overall effect from far...

congrats on the win though..and hopefully the next event will be better organised!

i admit that the organisation of HIN is the worst - Max Power do it so professional - they get everyone in then decide where ppl go
All they check is that your petrol level is low - they dont check your boot or under your bonnet

Gary (blue M3) is a mate of mine and tbh there are quite a few diferences in the 2 cars - i assumed that mine would be mild as it still has a standard feel about the car whereas Gary has changed pretty much everything i.e bumpers, bonnet, seats, rear lights have tv's in - the only similarites are that they are both M3 verts, gucci trimmed and spinners lol

As for my MTV base logo - fas beat me to it - i have been in 3 videos now - one has already been on mtv and the other two should take a couple of months before it makes it on there !! even tho the hype hype song was real bad i constantly get asked if it was the car from the vid lol

yeah always get paid for that sort of work - all depends on budget tho to how much you get but even the lowest budget always pays expenses at least
