I know, I know. Before you all say it's been done..... these are installed on my Compact!

I have used the 2nd generation rings for the coupe/vert which were supplied by Teddy (Who else??). The rings fitted the inner (main beam) lights OK but they were a lot smaller that the outer (dipped beam) lights so I've had to set the rings to the back of the light housing and not the front.

What do you guys think??

Looks sweet [cool ....first in the country?

Are your's the halos for the facelift cars? Can you use the older version with a slightly larger ring to fill the gap on the outer headlamp?

Night shots have made me want them more now! Something i have really wanted to do. But having a Compact dosen't give you masses of options on mods/parts.

Tedster!! You best PM me prices and options matey!! [bang Oh, are there ones that would go with xenons better?

Who knows?? Maybe :) Certainly the first one I've seen!!

Yes they are. Teddy supplied these with the inner lights in mind. Suppose I could try the older version to compare sizes.

I contacted the seller of the Compact Angel Eyes asking for more pics.

Heres what he sent

What do you guys think of these??

He does them in xenon white, blue, red and green.

If i got any of these then i would want the ones that match my xenons but im not sure if the xenon white are too white for the xenon headlights. Yet the blue ones look a little dull [hmm

Would anyone be willing to help me install a set of these CCFL's into my 2001 E46 Compact?

P.S - Great Site!

Hi Rick/Guys!

Rick – Your Compact looks awesome!

John.

Thanks mate ;)

You going to Donnington on Sunday?

Check this "how to" guide for the CCFL install

Clicky (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Richardlkay/images/misc/CCFLdiy.pdf)

It's for the Coupe/Vert but 95% of it is the same for the Compact. Only difference with the Compact is that you will need to remove the front bumper to get at the light clusters.

So, as a complete novice - You think I'll be OK if I use common sense?

No problem! Just follow the guide. Like I said, only difference with the Compact is that you have to remove the front bumper to get at the lights.

Thanks Rick,

I'm gonna do it......!

Do you know, or can you provide me the link to the SSDD Angel eyes you have? So so I reduce the posibility of getting the wrong ones!

What size torx do I need for the headlight unit? any other special tools?

Thanks,

John.
