Hi everyone, could anyone shine any light on this problem,:mad:

a Friend of mine as a Alfa Spider 1983 reg 2.ltr flat four,the problem is it over heats. I have replaced the thermostat also had the water pump off and that's OK,flushed out the rad but still it over heats.

the water is coming out of the expansion tank if that helps

Is the fan definitely cutting in when it gets hot enough? Far be it for any Alfa to have electrical problems... ;)

Cheers Dan, Well it has got a electrical fan but it looks like it's been fitted after as the wiring is not connected and is not standard wiring:confused: , i also made to believe that it should not have that fan fitted :confused: :confused: What do you think.
