The new baby comes tomorrow. Went in today and caught Teddy perving over one of the admin girls so I rescued her and dragged him out to see a proper car. :p She's pretty (no, the car, not the admin girl!), first time I've seen her in the flesh, was a lovely sunny afternoon for a test drive too. She's not staying pretty though - she's due a makeover and she gonna look NASTY when it's finished lol!!

We're gonna be restricted on time tomorrow what with Ted needing to get his ride prepped for HIN in the afternoon and the car not being available until lunchtime, but I'm gonna try and get as many photos as possible of the last of the old car being stripped back to stock, the new one arriving stock, and then the magic that we know as 'ET' taking the beauty and making it into the beast.. [jam Depending on availability, what doesn't get done tomorrow may get done on Saturday, any crew are welcome to come and lend a hand or take a photo if so. ;)

Did my leather today. My nappa is currently marinated with Gliptone.... :D Still a bit damp the last time I checked peeping through my tints, can't open the door or else the flavour would all escape :p

Hehe no worries Nick, was desperately trying to get mine sorted before tomorrow cos I knew this weekend was gonna be a bad one, always works out this way though eh. :) Who knows, if it doesn't work out there may be a postponement to next Saturday anyways, I've got a feeling that the CAI is gonna be the first thing that goes on and we all know there's always time for those to get fitted lol. :D Will see how we go, and thanks as always to El Tedster who's never too busy for his boys even on a weekend like this one. ;)

LOL I may not need to now! Picked her up at 2pm yesterday, by 4pm there was 5 of us down at Speedway and by 4:30 the modding had started. We didn't get as much done as we'd hoped, but Ted got plenty of photos and we're gonna do the rest on Sunday. Hopefully Sunday night we'll have a start-to-finish photo spread. :cool:

She sits a bit lower than I thought, which had a few of us pondering that dropping it may not be necessary. Then, once we'd finally got on one of the secret weapons Teddy has been storing for a couple months, it definitely looked like it was already low enough. You'll see what I mean once you see the photos. ;)

Full props to Speedway btw, first time I've been there and it's a top place to hang out and tinker. Their top guy has some serious skillz aswell - very glad I went there to do this.

I thought I was fast in terms of picking up car to first mod. Took me 2 days. Dan did his within 2 hours, and it involves taking the front wheel arch liners and undercowl off! Man those wishbones look shiney :D

Just got back lol. Halos are now on and CAI is bolted tight and sounding right. My two favourite mods - saved the best for last (well, last this weekend anyway :D ).

Ted has the first set of pics to go up, I've got some from tonight but the camera packed up and went to sleep right at the end - Teddy wasn't looking much better either, poor old boy haha! Will take some 'finished' photos tomorrow if it's decent weather.

Car looks real mean blacked out with the cf splitter and the halos now on - really chuffed with it. Top top thanks to Teddy for all his work and support, you really are top dog bro, such a busy weekend and you gave me so much of your time man, you're priceless. Mucho thanks also to Mits who was hanging onto the other end of the splitter with me while Kherie worked like mad to nail it to the front end, that took some serious stamina lol. And you guys (and gal!) on Friday for making me feel like a proper crew member and giving me so many ideas to spend my money on and pester Teddy with lol. So I've had the car 2 days and done the following:
